This is a desktop application for creating animated gif images from several of your favorite videos.

To start a new Gif image, select "New" from the menu. You will be prompted to indicate the size of the gif image. The size entered at this point is the size with which all frames will be captured from the video.

A blue rectangle showing the capture area will then be visible. You can move this rectangle to the area you will capture frames. You capture frames by pressing the "Record" button.

Once the frames have been captured, they are shown in the "Gif Editor" window.

The frames can then be selected and edited. Options available include; delete, move (left or right), horizontal and vertical flip, 180 degrees rotation , grayscale, insert text and text transition.

There is also a panel to preview the animated gif

When you are done, you can save your animated gif image. You will be prompted to specify some properties before you save. The application can also open animated gif images.

Note: The application contains a .NET dll which is a wrapper for the video methods of the Truveo XML API. Feel free to use it in your application.
